Château de Pierrefonds
In the heart of Valois, visit of the castle built at the end of the XIVth century which was demolished by Louis XIII but restored by Violet le Duc at the behest of Napoleon III. Admirably situated in the forest of Compiègne, it is a beautiful testimony of the rediscovery of medieval art in the XIXth century.

Crépy-en-Valois, medieval town
Departure at 15:30 for Crépy-en-Valois: visit of this medieval town and its pretty paved alleys and carved facades of ancient dwellings, ruins of the bell tower of the collegiate, Saint-Arnoul Abbey. In the ancient dungeon, the Archery Musuem presents its collection on the evolution of the arc and of its traditions.
